Recently when confronted with the
opportunity to lead the Lucky Star Web
Team I made several promises and
pledges to the staff as well as myself.
As the thought of leading this thought
provoking unit of the Lucky Star
Lounge settled in I realized we have
forgotten the most important piece of
our puzzle, our fickle public. During our
transition meeting I
told the staff we are
also a member of
the fickle public and
we darn well better
start acting that way.

What I found on my initial inspection
were piles upon piles of creative
thought and ideas. There were colorful
posters, unusual furniture and several
Jimi Hendrix posters.
The change is coming to our web site.
We will change our color guided
thought processes into a more
comfortable cruise control scheme.
You will see more black, whites and
grays. There will be less movement
and more straight forward easy to
understand information. My motto is "if
you want to have a good time have a
bible study group or go to the local
amusement park."
Although we will maintain a small
skeleton staff to manage the previous
site you will now have a choice.
I once again pledge to deliver an easy
to read, simple, bare bones web site.
You will see immediate changes to the
LSL web site. I am available to accept
your accolades or comments regarding
the new direction.
Thank you and enjoy the new
improved LSL News.

Word from the Web Editor
Borman Dull, Jr.

New staff writer changes taking effect
immediately will see some familiar faces
disappear.
The Splendivits were slated to begin a
weekly column eavesdropping on
unsuspecting LSL staff and customers.
They have accepted a similar position
at the Lucky Strike Hookah Bar in
Borger, Texas.
Most likely gone is Taps Wilhelm lined
up to toss his homespun humor while
filling in for crowd favorite ,Sporty
Dewhurst. He was deemed to
controversial by new Managing Editor,
Borman Dull Jr and will return to his
former post as lead barber of Bub's
Barbershop in Train, Wisconsin.
Chosen to edit the skeleton staff of the
c

creative colorful LSL web site is Chaz
Weltman. He will most likely continue
the site business as usual with little or
no support from Dull with hopes that it
will whither and fade away.
Filling in the former Wilhelm/ Dewhurst
spot will be Slippy Shuman. She is a
well known amateur belly dancer and
doomsday soothsayer.
Guest writers will fill in from time to time
as Weltman runs his one man show.

Web Staff in Tears as Mass Changes
Sweep through Office
As news spread of the vicious email
complaint that changed the world of
the LSL web site staffers ran for the
door. Many were in tears. Others
hurriedly wrote resumes' when word
leaked out of the Borman Dull Jr hiring
as new managing editor by LSL owner
Patrick Patterson.
" We had just sat down for our creative
meeting when          @          .gov  was
released to the team. There was
stunned silence in the room. I mean
total silence as our former boss, Bobby
Flame, read the email aloud," spoke
former staffer Trey LeBouy.
" It hurt when I heard the words,' it isn't
good at all'. We held each other. We
cried. Even though the letter had
glaringly poor grammar and spelling
the impact was felt immediately," a
shaken Sheila Duefhouse said in a
halting voice wracked with emotional
pain
Jerry Barry summed up the situation in
the web room ", We began the day as
a tight happy family, our hopes and
dreams in tact with all of us looking
ahead to wonderful futures. We
finished the day torn, tattered and
shorn of our personal pride. Our jobs
were stripped from us by this M
who wrote the email. She doesn't know
how much time it takes to create the
web site. She has no idea how many
people enjoyed the funny stories and
bizarre observations. I would hate to
live in her gray world full of pleasant
web sites that have pretty graphics
and photos. Our world is now done for
the most part. I don't know how Chaz
Weltman will keeps things, but I hope a
few of us are allowed to stay on at the
creative web site."
That is the question for many people in
the LSL web room. Where is the
future? Where will all the ideas go?
