| The touching story of Mildred Denny and her spirit is well known in Warren County and among LSL friends. What we are now discovering throughout the Front Royal, VA historic downtown district is the number of spirit sightings and rumblings is on the increase. Practically everyone has seen or heard a story recently. It is causing quite a stir and attracting the attention of authors, "ghost hunters", paranormal specialists and those who simply are in tune with the other side. One attractive local woman describes an encounter with a spirit or spirits. |
"It usually happens in the
very early morning. I am
startled awake by someone
entering my bedroom. At the
foot of my bed stands a tall
man. He is talking.
Sometimes I think he is
talking to me other times it
is like he is directing others.
Occasionally I see or hear
others in the room, but it's
the man who consistently
shows himself."
When asked if she fears the
spirit she continues," No. I
mean at first of course I was
shaken a bit. What really
touches me is I think I know
him or have seen him some
where, some place."
Her voice trails off and she
stares over my shoulder
almost as if I weren't in the
room.
Her tasteful apartment
castes shadows about as
night slowly over takes the
evening.

bucket heads crying for

the emergence of spirits

remain on the earthly
plane?

spirit will most assuredly
present them self to a
person who accepts their
existence. Sometimes they
attempt contact to some
one they have a message
for or wish to guide them
through a specific time.
